


Coach Wilson played college baseball at the University of Missouri- St Louis from 1992-1995. He received his BA in History from Lindenwood College. He received his Master’s degree in Education Administration from UT- Arlington.
Coach Wilson has been married to his wife Amy for 30 years. Amy is the CFO for Lifespace Community Properties. They have 1 son, Chance, who is a Senior at the University of Texas-Dallas. Chance is expected to get his degree in Healthcare Management next Fall.
This is Coach Wilson's 29th year in Education and his 22nd year as a Head Coach. He began his coaching career at Lindenwood College and then was the Varsity Asst at Lake Highlands HS from 1997-2004.
Coach Wilson has held the Head Coach position at Richardson Berkner, Frisco Centennial, Lovejoy, and this is his 5th year at the helm of Allen.
Coach Wilson's teams have made the playoffs in 16 seasons. His teams have won 6 District Championships and have advanced to the regional round of playoffs in 7 seasons. He has been awarded the District Coach of the Year 6 times.
Coach Wilson has had the privilege of coaching over 120 players that have received baseball scholarships and 11 of them have been drafted by MLB teams.
His hobbies include playing golf, traveling with his family, and he loves to attend sporting events.
Whit Whitlock is entering his 20th year of coaching high school and select baseball. He joined Allen High School as a varsity assistant in 2022, following previous coaching roles at The Colony and R.L. Turner.
Before moving to Texas in 2020, he spent 14 years coaching in Louisiana at Ouachita Parish, West Monroe, and Bastrop High Schools.
In select baseball, Coach Whitlock has worked with top programs including the DFW Twins, Dallas Patriots, and Texas Stix.
His playing career includes time at Louisiana College, Hinds Community College, and the University of Arkansas-Monticello.
